Neverending Scrapbook

I have chosen some photos from our wonderful 25th wedding anniversary at Stapleford Park, for a cute little scrapbook.

First cut fold and stick your card together.

I have covered all sides with the Pion paper, Eternal Moments and Forget Me Not from thier Forget Me Not collection having cut out my butterflies first!

Next I couldn't find an antique colour lace in my collection.......so I made a "bowl" of black tea and dyed my own............
For the letters I used the great paper Venetian Lace from Graphic 45's Renaissance collection. I cut out the letters "Stapleford Park" twice, and matted them with gold mirri. The main letters S and P I edged with my lace and again used the lace at random throughout my little scrapbook.

I addes a little of Hunkydorys angel wispers glitter to the wings of the butterflies.

With having four sides you can choose plenty of photo's

Here is Bob helping!!!!  so crafty!!
You can turn again and again.....neverending.

New for 2012

Oh I am so having fun, sorting my orders for Graphic 45, Prima and Pion.  I think I may have the Pion order ready first...Fun...Fun..Fun.

Creating

I cannot believe it's the end of the first week of 2012 already. We have been really busy in the shop January sale, there are some really great deals to be had in the gifts, craft and food.
A stormy week outside but we have been nice and snug inside....creating, mind you first of all I had to clear the tables from Christmas!! So, this is how it went...
Three beautiful sheets of Pion paperstock, two of Eternal Moments/Forget-me-not and one of Violet/A Fairytale of Spring to create three very different projects.
1. A Winter Wedding/A Ruby Wedding
This consists of a card and a box.
I covered the base and decorated with satin ribbon, a buckle and creater a swinter spray.
I then covered the front of the card with the reverse of the paper. I cut my photo out with a Spellbinders die and edged with want2scrap bling. My frame for the photo I used a piece of my paper with the least design on and then, afterripping distressed the edges with Distress Ink "vintage photo" . I curled the edges with a cocktail stick withpva glue on it so as to stiffen the rolls.
At the top of the front I added some lace.a bit more glitter and bling and some little flowers cut out of my paper.

To finish I took one of our Christmas boxes and recovered and decorated it.
And there we go a lovely "winter wedding" or "ruby wedding" card and box
I will post another project another day.

Back to work

A really good start to the new working year.....a power cut till 11.30, courtesy of the weather! But power back on and I can start to ready some packs for the free craft days. Soooo excited .....I had found a whole box of slides from when I was young, how great for scrapbooking.  Luckily one of our lovely crafters pointed me in the right direction to turn them digital.  So slide converter ordered I wait in anticipation.
